Biographical Sketch

To’ Puan Dr. Maziah Ahmad Mahidin trained for the Masters program in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at the University Kebangsaan Malaysia. She obtained her Membership with the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists United Kingdom in 1994 and her Fellowship to the same college in 2012. Her working experience include stints at Hospital Kuala Lumpur, several NHS hospitals in Scotland including Livingston Hospital, Eastern General and the Western General Hospitals. She was also appointed as a Clinical Fellow in the Assisted Conception Unit, Simpson’s Maternity Pavilion at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh in 1996 which was then under the leadership of Professor David Baird of the world reknown Reproductive Centre of the Royal Infirmary. She is a former Treasurer of the Malaysian Obsterical & Gynaecology Society of Malaysia.
